Scooter Accident Turns Into Hit-And-Run
One person has been injured after a hit and run accident involving a man on a scooter earlier this week
According to the Miami Beach Police Department, the hit and run crash happened just before 7:00 a.m. when they received a call about a man possibly having a seizure at the intersection of 14th Street and Michigan Avenue.
Officers arrived at the scene and found a man who had been hit while he was riding his scooter.
Emergency crews transported the man whose name has not been released to Ryder Trauma Center where is currently listed in critical condition.
Eyewitnesses to the incident indicate that the vehicle fled the scene of the injury accident and headed northbound on Alton Road.
