School Bus Accident Leaves Ten with Injuries
Monday afternoon, while children were disembarking from a school bus, a semi-tractor truck rear-ended the school bus. Ten people were injured, including seven of the children, the bus driver, the truck driver and a passenger in the truck. Authorities didn’t believe that any of the injuries would prove to be life threatening, though two or three of the children injured were believed to have sustained serious injuries during the accident. Those children were transported to a local hospital to receive treatment for their injuries. According to school officials all the parents of the fifteen students who had been on the bus at the time of the accident had been notified.
