A deadly car crash on Krome Avenue Friday morning has left one person dead after a two-vehicle collision.

Police are currently investigating a crash where a truck collided with a truck near Okeechobee Road. Debris from the accident littered the shoulder and parts of the road. Traffic was backed up for nearly a quarter mile while emergency crews cleaned up the scene of the accident.

Car accidents can happen at any time and any place. Freeway and highway accidents can cause serious injuries and even death.

While no amount of money can ever replace what you have lost, our legal system allows for surviving estates to make a claim for financial recovery from parties who are responsible for accidents and to hold those people or businesses accountable for their actions and provide needed compensation for damages such as loss of future income, healthcare costs and expenses, ongoing medical assistance, funeral and burial costs, punitive damages such as wrongful death, pain and suffering.
