Woman Hospitalized After Wrong-Way Crash

A 67-year-old woman was hospitalized in Plantation after she drove the wrong way into oncoming traffic and hit two cars, early on a Friday morning in March.

According to officials with the Plantation Fire Department, the woman managed to jump the median at 70th Avenue and began to travel west into eastbound traffic. Rescue personnel managed to get her out of her car and take her to a nearby hospital. As of now, her condition is unknown.

The drivers of the other two cars were not hurt.
