Woman Crashes into Apartment Building
A woman has been arrested after she crashed her vehicle into an apartment building in northwest Miami-Dade on Friday.
Authorities say that this is not the first time a vehicle has crashed into the same building located in the 7100 block of Northwest 17th Avenue within a six month period.
The driver has been identified as Keyyvona Rolle, 27. Rolle had been speeding when she lost control of her vehicle and slammed into the apartment building. Police say that Rolle attempted to leave the scene of the crash but was placed under arrest.
Rolle is currently facing the charges of leaving the scene of an accident with injuries and property damage and is currently being held on bond.
One of the residents within the apartment complex was treated for minor injuries caused by flying debris from the accident. Residents that live in the complex say that they are concerned that it may happen again since such accidents keep happening in the same place.
