Stolen Pickup Truck Leads To Fatal Accident

No one can truly know when an accident will happen or what the circumstances surrounding an accident might be. Most drivers set out and take adequate protections to remain safe. Unfortunately, even with safety in mind, they can still be involved in a crash that causes injuries it will be.  Even if a driver takes every precaution to remain safe, through no fault of their own, they can still be involved in a crash that can leave them or their passengers seriously injured – or worse.

Such an accident which involved multiple cars took place in the Allapattah area of Miami on Tuesday which involved a stolen pickup truck has left one person dead and a number of other people injured.

A spokesperson with the Miami Police Department indicated that the accident occurred at approximately 1:45 p.m. in the neighborhood of Northwest 14th Avenue and Northwest 35th Street in Miami.

A red Dodge Ram pickup truck that had been reported stolen on Monday was involved in a head-on collision with a black Ford Flex sedan.

Emergency crews transported seven people from the scene of the accident to Jackson Memorial Hospital and Ryder Trauma Center. The driver, whose name has not yet been released by authorities, was pronounced dead upon their arrival at the trauma center.

Two individuals who had been in the Dodge Ram pickup truck at the time of the crash are being questioned by detectives. Their names have also not been released at this time.
