Head-On Collision In Hialeah

When driving down the road, there are probably few things more terrifying than to see another vehicle in your lane coming straight at you. That may have been precisely what was going through the minds of several people who found themselves in a head-on collision in Hialeah Gardens earlier this month.

According to a story which was broadcast on the CBS local station in Miami, an accident in Hialeah Gardens on Tuesday, June 18th has sent five people to the hospital after a head-on collision which happened around the area of Northwest 6th Avenue and 138th Street.

Those who were injured in the 2-vehicle crash included four teenagers that had been riding in one of the vehicles and one adult who was in the second vehicle.

Emergency rescue crews arrived on the scene of the accident. Three of the accident victims had to be evacuated by helicopter while the other two victims were transported via ambulance to an area hospital for treatment. Officials have not released the names or the conditions of any of the crash victims at the present time.

Investigators are still trying to determine what led to the head-on collision. So far the cause of the accident remains under investigation. No charges have been filed in the case.
