Early Morning Accident
Sunday morning saw a horrific car accident that has left two people in unknown condition. The crash occurred early Sunday on the 79th St. Causeway when one driver lost control of the vehicle and struck a tree located in the median. That vehicle actually broke in half on impact, and its driver was able to walk away with minor injuries. A second car was also involved in the accident and its occupants were the most grievously injured. Two of them were airlifted to Ryder Trauma Center and police are still looking for a third person believed to have been in that car at the time of the crash..
