Car Accident Hospitalizes One
The intersection of Broward Boulevard and University Drive in Plantation was the scene of a morning accident Friday.
According to authorities, a 67 year old woman was driving the wrong direction after jumping the median on 70th Avenue and continued west bound down Broward Boulevard. At the intersection of Broward Boulevard and University Drive she struck two other vehicles.
While neither of the other drivers was injured, emergency personal had to extract the sixty-seven year old woman from her vehicle and transport her to a hospital for treatment. Her condition is currently unknown.
