Wrong-Way Drunk Driver Kills Four & Himself

Daniel Morris had twice the legal limit of alcohol in his system when he drove his vehicle against the flow of traffic and killed four other people as well as himself.

According to investigators, Morris was driving the wrong way on Interstate 270 Friday morning around 2 a.m.  and ran his Sports Utility Vehicle into a Hyundai Sonata.

The Sonata had four people inside, all of whom were students at the University of South Florida. All four were also members of Sigma Beta Rho fraternity. All four students as well as Morris were killed. Morris’s autopsy reveals that his blood alcohol was two and a half times the legal limit in Florida. Traces of other intoxicants were also found in his system.
