Woman Charged with DUI Manslaughter & Evidence Tampering

A 42-year-old Pampona Beach woman struck and killed a motorcyclist in late February, likely while under the influence of intoxicating substances. When the police arrived, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead on the scene, according to authorities.

The suspect drove home after the accident, leaving the scene behind. When deputies tracked her back to her home, they found her attempting to conceal the evidence by covering her car with a tarp.
