After the incident where a motorist drove off the road into a group of diners outside the Café Lemoni on NE 2nd Avenue, Victims of the accident have begun speaking out about their experiences. One man who was dining there described the chaos that was left in the wake of the terrible incident.

“When I was on the ground all I knew was something really bad had happened,” he said. “It kind of looked like a bomb had just gone off because there was dust and broken glass everywhere.  All I know is when I got up and looked over I heard kids screaming.”

Other diners have said that after watching the surveillance video of the accident that they feel that it is a miracle that no one died that day.
