One Dead and Three Injured in Multi-Car Crash

One person is dead and three people are injured after a multi-car crash on Sunday. The chain-reaction crash occurred at the intersection of Southwest 117th Avenue and 72nd Street.

According to Miami-Dade Police reports, a car smashed into another vehicle, causing it to impact with two other vehicles that were stopped at a red traffic light. The accident claimed the life of one victim, a man in his 50s. Three other individuals who were involved in the crash were taken to a local hospital and are listed in stable condition.

Accidents can happen at any time, no matter how careful you are. Automobile accidents are usually caused by:

  • driving at excessive speed
  • aggressive driving
  • reckless driving
  • hazards in the road
  • equipment failure
  • distracted driving
  • driving under the influence of alcohol and other substances
  • failure to follow posted signage or obey the rules of the road

Even with these contributing factors, how a road is designed may also be considered in why an accident might have occurred. It is sometimes hard to sort out what actually was the root cause of an accident. We will use our own team of investigators to get to the bottom of your personal injury or accident case.
